An Exchange is a dance weekend, that gives the host city a chance to show off as many of their best venues, bands, dj’s, and fun parts of what there is to do. The host city opens it’s doors for the Exchange weekend and invites dancers to come visit. Normally the visiting dancers are housed with other local dancers, so you have a friendly face to welcome you & ease your stay.

Boston Swing Central is a dancer-formed, volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting positive and fun swing dancing experiences in Boston.
We have two primary objectives. First, to provide a weekly Friday night dance that caters to the desires of dancers of all levels. This means a dance that is centrally located, on public transportation, and reasonably priced.
Second, to champion the diverse voices within the community by remaining open and neutral with regards to information and promotion of other swing dance events in the greater Boston area and by striving to feature a wide variety of teachers, bands, and DJs.
