In addition to local studios such as It’s All Swing and Hop to the Beat, there are many dance camps (that’s right, this one time, at dance camp….) and workshops available. There are listings for them on various websites including ours and in the forum as well as places like www.lindyexchange.com. Going to a camp or a workshop is a fun and intensified way to learn a lot of material in a very concentrated amount of time.

Boston Swing Central is a dancer-formed, volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting positive and fun swing dancing experiences in Boston.
We have two primary objectives. First, to provide a weekly Friday night dance that caters to the desires of dancers of all levels. This means a dance that is centrally located, on public transportation, and reasonably priced.
Second, to champion the diverse voices within the community by remaining open and neutral with regards to information and promotion of other swing dance events in the greater Boston area and by striving to feature a wide variety of teachers, bands, and DJs.
