I >Heart< Swing! with Taryn Newborne & The Easy Winners

February 16th, 2018 | Category: dances

Boston Swing Central is very excited for one of our most beloved swing dances of the year!  This Valentine’s Day themed dance will feature our custom-designed Valentines and dancing Cupids to deliver them. Dress to impress in some red and pink and get ready to send your friends (and secret dance crushes) some Valentines!

Here to put us in the mood for dancing is Taryn Newborne & The Easy Winners!

Born in Memphis and raised in Atlanta, vocalist Taryn Newborne is rooted deeply in the soil of a rich musical heritage. She has often said that she loves music so much, it hurts her feelings. After years of dancing in her local Lindy Hop scene, one of the major organizers suggested that Taryn put her own group together for dances. Taryn Newborne and The Real Deal was born. She’d finally found her home, situated between her love of singing and Lindy Hop. Since becoming a regular in her home scene, Taryn has had the opportunity to make guest appearances with Falty and the Defects, Ben Polcer, Jonathan Stout, Gordon Webster, The K-Night Owls, Michael Gamble and The Rhythm Serenaders and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band All Stars.

Lesson (included w/ admission): 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Swing Dancing: 9:00pm – 12:00am
General Admission: $18
Students and Seniors (with Valid ID): $15

Sorry, no passes or coupons will be accepted tonight.
