Join us for night two of Kind of a Big Deal Weekend at the beautiful Hibernian Hall featuring Gordon Webster Band! AND don’t miss the Kind of a Big Deal Weekend contest finals!

Pianist Gordon Webster is one of the most sought after musicians in the lindy hop world. His tremendous musicianship and passion, supported by his first-hand knowledge of social dancing, have inspired lindy hoppers at hundreds of dance events worldwide. Drawing on influences as diverse as Fats Waller, Count Basie, Oscar Peterson and Gene Harris, Webster serves up a smorgasbord of styles unified by one characteristic: irresistible danceability.

Lesson (solo jazz with Jon Tigert): 7:00-8:00pm
Dancing: 8:00pm – 1:45am
General Admission: $37 at-the-door
Students and Seniors (with Valid ID):$28 at-the-door

What is BSC?

Boston Swing Central is a dancer-formed, non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting positive and fun swing dancing experiences in Boston.

We have two primary objectives. First, to provide a weekly Friday night dance that caters to the desires of dancers of all levels. This means a dance that is centrally located, on public transportation, and reasonably priced.

Second, to champion the diverse voices within our community by remaining open and neutral with regards to information and promotion of other swing dancing events in the greater Boston area and by striving to feature a wide variety of teachers, bands, and DJs.
