We’re back for our “Calling All Zombies” Halloween dance, featuring live music by the River Street Six! We encourage dressing up in a costume, and are excited to offer a special, all-levels lesson with Andrea Byrnes and Natalie Eringros, teaching Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” routine (note that this lesson will start at 7:30 to allow for more time).

We’re excited to host Mariel Gastiarena and the Swing City Argentina House Band! This band represents the biggest swing dance school and jazz club in Latin America, which is known as “Swing City” (not to be confused with local dance of the same name). Mariel has traveled and taught around the world, came to Boston last year to teach, and now is back, ready to sing and tap dance with her full band!

Please note: The Arlington Town hall is a beautiful venue, but it’s about 3 times as expensive as Q Ballroom, so a large portion of the ticket price will go towards paying for the venue. We recognize that this dance is more expensive, due to the venue and out-of-town musicians, so have volunteer spots available for those who may need them.

This event is part of a fundraising fall tour in advance of Gordon recording an album in Brooklyn, New York, including A-list musicians from Europe and South America. Because this is a large project, with many people involved, expenses will be high. If you are interested in the album, please consider pre-ordering or donating now to support this project.
