A brief update: tonight’s dance is on! We hope to see you there! There will be tickets available at-the-door! Gordon Webster tested positive for covid yesterday and will not be able to make the trip! The rest of his band, plus a few additional players will be taking over for him and we assure you tonight is going to be a great night of dancing in a beautiful venue!!!

We are excited to christen Crystal Ballroom with the very talented and amazing Gordon Webster on Saturday, March 26th!!! This will be our first Boston Swing Central dance at Crystal Ballroom! This venue is beautiful, so we’re hoping and encouraging everyone to get all dolled and dappered up! There will also be alcohol available at the bar at this venue, so that is something different, please be sure to tip the staff.

For those not familiar with Gordon Webster, he is a virtuosic piano player/band leader from New York. Over the last 20 years he has played for swing dancers around the globe, developing a reputation as one of the most loved and adored bandleaders. He has been playing piano since he was 4 and he even knows how to Lindy Hop, so he really knows what dancers like. His repertoire brings a full dynamic range that utilizes all 90-odd years of jazz and swing into an intoxicating and unforgettable night of dancing that you really don’t want to miss!

Advanced Beginner Swing Dance Lesson (an extra $5 with admission, see form below) 6:30pm-7:30pm

Beginner Swing Dance Lesson (price included with admission): 7:30-8:30pm
Social dancing: 8:30pm-12:15am

Similar to all previous dances, we will have limited attendance and will require all attendees to show proof of full vaccination and to wear masks (we will not be requiring N95 masks for this dance) the entire time (except while actively drinking) while in the venue (including while dancing!).
